Our development

More than a decade in polycarbonate materials. Zhengfei’s manufacturing experience and Zhenghe’s research platform support the continued development of PC sheet solutions.

2014
Founding and first production
Suzhou Zhengfei Sheet Co., Ltd. was established in Suzhou, focusing on solid PC sheets and basic daylighting materials. Production quality control supported its initial residential and small engineering projects in eastern China, while the company developed its manufacturing skills, supply chain and customer base.
2015
Process development
The company improved sheet extrusion and UV co-extrusion processes for resistance to ageing and yellowing, and established standardized production procedures. Canopies, daylighting roofs and outdoor enclosures were its principal residential applications, helping it build long-term customer relationships.
2016
Capacity and product expansion
Production lines were upgraded and the range expanded to include multiwall sheets and frosted solid sheets. Warehousing and logistics were improved to serve engineering projects throughout Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai.
2017
Engineering applications
Research focused on weather resistance, impact resistance and optical clarity. Raw-material selection and incoming inspections addressed yellowing, cracking and outdoor durability. Municipal facilities, advertising lightboxes and outdoor installations became additional markets as the product range moved toward engineering applications.
2018
Wider market coverage
The company expanded beyond its regional market to additional provinces and cities. It standardized sales, project coordination and after-sales service, supporting daylighting projects and infrastructure work with consistent quality and customized service.
2019
New applications and strategic preparation
Experience in production, research and sales informed plans for more specialized manufacturing. The company began producing multilayer UV-resistant basketball backboards and supplying sheet materials for sports equipment. It also developed downstream machining and forming processes, preparing for protective shields and custom-shaped components.
2020
Zhenghe established
Zhenghe (Suzhou) New Materials Co., Ltd. was founded, combining Zhengfei’s manufacturing experience with Zhenghe’s development of new products. Research and volume production expanded into sound barriers and acoustic walls for highways, municipal roads and industrial sites. The two companies also strengthened fabrication services, supporting building materials, sports equipment and traffic noise control.
2021
Production and quality upgrades
The two companies coordinated their operations, upgraded clean production environments and introduced precision extrusion equipment. A dedicated testing laboratory and standards for weathering, acoustic performance and impact resistance supported traceability of UV layers, sheet structures and acoustic properties for engineering sheets, sports materials and protective products.
2022
Engineering projects and fabrication
The company developed projects involving traffic noise barriers, municipal acoustic works and large venues. Management and qualification systems were improved alongside precision machining, bending and forming, building experience for customized shield production.
2023
Integrated manufacturing and finished products
Zhengfei and Zhenghe integrated research, capacity, sales channels and fabrication resources across their production bases, aligning quality and service standards. Sheet production, precision machining, forming and delivery became a connected service. Formed protective shields entered scaled production, extending the business from sheet supply to finished custom products.
2024
Specialized market development
The company continued developing sound-barrier sheets, basketball backboards and protective shields for markets across China. Improvements to forming and fabrication supported greater customization accuracy and delivery efficiency, serving transport infrastructure, sports equipment, security and construction projects.

Digital development and precision manufacturing
